Over photoces

Als ik een ruimte binnenloop zie ik meteen hoe ik deze het beste in beeld kan brengen. Hoe gebruik ik het licht in mijn voordeel? Wat is het het ene detail dat alles zegt? Als fotograaf til ik de beeldvorming van uw locaties, design en evenementen naar een hoger niveau.

Ik ben gespecialiseerd in architectuur-, interieur- en productfotografie. In samenwerking met mijn opdrachtgevers bespreek ik hoe we de meeste impact kunnen maken. Door mijn ruime ervaring heb ik inzicht in wat publicitair werkt en hoe je een beeldverhaal redigeert. Graag denk ik in een vroeg stadium met u mee.

Technisch heb ik een grote bagage. Ik kan goed licht naar mijn hand zetten en combineer het waar nodig subtiel met mijn eigen studioverlichting. Via Photoshop en andere grafische software breng ik uiteindelijk alles in balans. Ik heb een eigen studio in Zaandam en reis voor opdrachten graag door heel Nederland.

Ik ben in 2007 afgestudeerd in de fotografie en leer ook als professional nog dagelijks bij. Mijn werk staat in kranten en tijdschriften als NRC, Volkskrant, Trouw, Het Parool, De Groene Amsterdammer, De Architect en Wallpaper. Ik werk onder meer voor architectenbureaus, woningcorporaties, musea en ontwerpers.

About photoces

I enjoy discovering spaces and displaying them in a precise and meaningful light.

By working for museums and artists I learned to document a space or object in a clear way to achieve maximum readability. Working for leisure and real estate professionals taught me a commercial understanding of atmosphere. This includes details to sell an experience.

To make a difference, I use a rich set of technical skills to make mundane things extraordinary. Lighting, natural or artificial, serves me as a tool to highlight materials and textures. My goal is to translate your design or place into a crisp and appealing image.

Since graduating from the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 2007, I have worked as a commissioned and fine-arts photographer. And I still learn new things daily. My images have been published in various newspapers and magazines in Holland and abroad.

When I am not working on commissions I am creating elaborate studio landscapes for my personal work.
